Is there a good and uptodate Avi player for the ppc amiga?

Frogger http://frogger.rules.pl/

You can run the fantastic MPlayer (http://nogfx.free.fr/warpdesign/softmos.php3) if you install MorphOS on your PPC Amiga. Other than that there's MooVid (http://www.dfmk.hu/~torokl/MooVId.html) and Frogger (http://frogger.rules.pl/downloads.html). Frogger is the most up-to-date.

How´s the performance of Mplayer on the ppc?
How much memory do i need for MorphOS?
All good questions.

MPlayer is not so fantastic on a PPC603 as it's much slower than the other mentioned players. The good thing is that it is free.
If you are planning to run Ambient as a desktop, you need a lot of memory. 64MB fast is the minimum, i think.

For some reason FroggerNG constantly freezes my amiga,it is the only ppc aplication that does this.
Have you experiencied any weird freezes with FroggerNG?

Have you tryed AMP2 Under the WIP section (http://www.amidog.com/)? It isnt greatly upto date, but I have no problems with avi's etc using AMP2. the beta version for the classic amiga doesnt need register anymore so its basically freeware, which is alot better than trying to register Moovid and Frogger with both need credit cards and its one thing I dont want just to register afew amiga titles it would by nice if these guys took paypal then I would by both :-D
Well thats my 2 pennys

AMP2 is the one i use right now,i managed to watch an entire movie on it,but i didn´t know that it could also work with AVIs.

@nasty
Sending the money with snail mail is always an option :-)
@Aminux
Well, i haven't been able to play any DivX with it. Maybe i did something wrong with the installation. It's quite good with mpgs, though.
