Title: We got a amiga 500 from ebay and this is wat happened

we got it delived and we started to set it all up then we realised that the rgb cable was missing,
so we  got 1 and then got all odf the stuff out my dad was anoyed because it was jumping and your could'nt see anything......



But then i said shall we tri it on the older tv and it worked because it wasnt a digital like our main 1

I've got that problem with Amigas and Spectrums.  All fuzzy and crap looking on the 2 year old telly in the living room, but perfect on an 20+ year old portable :-D

It's only computers that do that though.  My NES, SNES, MasterSystemII, MegaDrive, N64, Dreamcast all work fine on the newish telly.  Strange.

are the newer TV set, multistandards? with Digital Noise Reducers?

Strange. My A500+ works fine with both my new portable and 3 year old big tv, as well as all the old ones that I've used.
