hi every 1 me and ma dad ave got a amiga 500 and its great but we need amos basic (1.2)

Welcome to Amiga.org!

I don't know where you can get Amos I don't think it's available any more.  It's not very good anyway you should learn assembler and use AsmPro or Devpac - it's much more powerful but it will take you a little longer to learn than Amos.

There is a good guide for beginners to assembler here (http://www.mways.co.uk/amiga/howtocode/).  It is by Jolyon Ralph, who is quite a famous Amiga programmer.

Yep, there are a few copies of AMOS on eBay, like this one (http://cgi.ebay.com/AMOS-THE-CREATOR-PLUS-EXTRAS-DISK-FOR-AMIGA_W0QQitemZ8247618882QQcategoryZ98929QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) - all with low starting prices.

Can't imagine there'd be a huge lot of demand for AMOS these days, so you should be able to get it cheaply...
