Post by: cbcvenice on December 30, 2005, 06:27:09 PM
Wonderin' if anyone has experimented with "myuae" for palm 5.0 hardware/software?

Is it worth trying?

Thanks!

It doesn't support:
* AGA
* higher processors than 68000
* hardfiles

Yet ;-) Hardfile support is on his ToDo list. Other processors might be possable but I guess depends on the power of the processor in the Palm, same for AGA.

Still, works really well!

I'm waiting on the initial charge of my brand new Palm TX, my first pocket computer since a SHARP organizer in `93.  I'm intending to use it as hub of a light-weight, wireless vlogging suite, consisting of:

1) Xacti C-6 VGA-res Mpeg4+stereo AAC SD chip based camcorder/ 6MP JPEG (small and slim)

2) Palm TX, recent wi-fi & bluetooth enabled model

3) Wolverine MVP portable 60 Gig USB Harddrive cardreader

4) One pedestrian (me)

At home I have a P4 PC AmigaForever UAE installation.

I'm enthused by gleanings of the scant but favorable mentions of MyUAE with DPaint4.  I want to learn about experiences and thoughts on how MyUAE can compliment the Palm platform.

Three hours have gone by, I can start learning about this Palm-thingy.
