Hey, it's been more than 6 months now, that EVERY single retailer within 500 miles from me states on its website "blah blah, next batch really soon, possibly a double G4, blah blah" reminding me of hard to forgot times. This is 1997 all over again.:boohoo:
Anyway, I just created this thread to let people in charge know that potential buyers are, indeed, waiting to get their hands on a system. And what about the finaled OS ? What are the latest news ? Is Hyperion working on it ? I emailed them some weeks ago, just to say hello you guys rock what are the news, but no reply so far. Does anyone know what they're at ? Please, any info would be appreciated

Keep in mind that Hyperion can/will not speak for others.
Specifics concerning hardware will come from the hardware people, not Hyperion.
Best Wishes,

"I assure you that there *will* be a news item that day."
- Hans-Joerg Frieden
So, tune in and find out. Of course, if you can't just wait for the transcript.
Maybe the new will be that Amiga OS 4.0 is ready for commercial release. Who know? Just have to wait and find out.
Hardware is another issue. I just hope one of the few known projects pan out. Thing is that anything produced is going to be expensive in needed numbers. The broader the the market for said hardware the more an cheaper it can be sold for.

I'm hoping others will join the IRC with something to say as well. Maybe the people behind Troika.

Troika? There is frequently a Troika member on #Amigaworld. Which news should they post? They did not even announce the winner of the "Give Amy a face contest" yet.
