I am looking at a pin out of an A4000 keyboard connector and a PS/2 keyboard connector, and as far as I can tell, they are the same. Are they compatible keyboards?

No they're not. They share the same wiring but the onboard keyboard chip is different and sends different signals. You'll need an AT to Amiga interface for your PS/2 keyboard. (such as a Lyra keyboard adapter)

Thanks, I've seen these listed at Software hut, but wasn't really sure what it was or worth thr money ($42).
The Black CDTV keyboard is getting really hard to find and I can get my hands on a Black PS/2 keyboard relatively cheap and it will look good with a CDTV.
Now to find a mouse and disk drive!?!?!?

I think you'll be able to find a black Amiga mouse fairly easy. I know they made black ones along with the white ones (the new generation mouses) and I have seen them on eBay at least 5 or 6 times in the past year (the black ones).

The CDTV has a different pinout and a slightly different connector.
AFAIK all black Amiga keyboards ever made were CDTV keyboards.
