Title: Supra 4X4 SCSI and DKB Insider II A1000?
Post by: TjLaZer on December 22, 2005, 01:57:16 AM
I tried a Supra 4x4 SCSI SOTS box with HD on my A1000 with DKB Insider II 1.5MB and after kick loads it asks for WB disk ,when I insert disk machine locks up and does a cold boot asking for Kickstart disk!  Supra HD on another A1000 w/o RAM expansion works fine (512k)  Any issues with internal RAM and Supra drives?
Title: Re: Supra 4X4 SCSI and DKB Insider II A1000? - PAL Grounding!

OK I did some quick Googling and it seems it might very well be a PAL grounding problem I have!  I read I need to add a wire to four PAL chips, pin 10 to a ground on MB.  Anyone who has done this or know how to do it care to share some notes?  Do I have to remove the daughterboard to tap pin 10 or can I use do it from the exposed backside from the top?  Where would be a good place to ground to?  I have some experience with soldering but not an expert, but am confident I can do this just have some questions.  Thanks!
