Title: Does A1234.rom work with Blizzard 2060 SCSI controller?
Post by: x56h34 on December 21, 2005, 04:20:03 PM
Does anyone know if by using the A1234.rom and SoftSCSI (or BlizKick) can actually update the SCSI rom of Blizzard 2060 accelerator card? The eproms on my 2060 card have 2060scsi.device version 8.2 on them, and I'd like to be able to use the latest version 8.5. Thanks.

I doubt that would work, at least updated roms for the 2060 cards were differemt from those for the 12x0 cards. I don't know if SoftSCSI would load those, at least you'd need to merge them first since they were distributed as two files (hi/lo).

Thanks for the tip.

Does anyone have the actual images for the 8.5 Blizzard 2060 SCSI rom (e.g. the hi/lo files)?
I could then ask my friend with a rom burner to simply overwrite the existing eproms with the updated version.
