I was looking for some simple tools to extract DMS files, etc when I ran across this script for DOPUS:
http://www.aminet.net/search.php?query=undms
As you can see, there are no instructions on how to set this up, which is the case with many of the various scripts I've found on Aminet.
How do I set this up, how do I make AREXX auto run at boot time, where do I find out more about AREXX in the first place?
Thankx!

Put Rexxmast in your WBStartup dir or put
run >nil: rexxmast
in the user-startup. You might need to specify the location of rexxmast though (sys:system).
Putting it in the WBStartup dir causes it to open a small window telling you it's loading. It's only up for about 5 secs, but it can be annoying.

Wow, I used to use ARexx all the time back in the early 90s. I forget more about it than most people ever learned (no really, I think my forgetfulness is into negative numbers now). My best resources at the time were ABACUS books, the AREXX bible, the ARexx Cookbook, and ideas and tips from Bill Bowling (author of MEBBSnet BBS for Amiga :).
To auto-start ARexx on boot, just drop the RexxMast program into your startup drawer (or a copy of it if you prefer).
You might want to see if any of those titles I mentioned are available from Amazon.com, BN.com, etc. (lots of used books appear on there frequently)
Some other resources:
Arexx Yahoo Group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/arexx/)
ARexx Programming (http://members.cox.net/midian/tutorials/arexx1.htm) Excellent for anyone new to ARexx
Alfie's ARexx pages (http://web.tiscali.it/amiga/)
Bruces ARexx/AWNPipe Tutorial (http://web.ukonline.co.uk/awnpipe/AATutor/BrucesTutorial.html)
Hope some of that's helpful to you! :-)
