Hi Folks,
I have a CDTV with latest internal ROM 2.30, which makes that ugly red screen because it´s designed to boot from other devices, too.
I was wondering if anybody can tell me where I can get a spare set of 1.0 CDTV ROMs...
Thanks

I'll happily swap mine for your v2.30 ROMs

Me too ;)

Something is wrong here. I have 2.7 ROMs in my CDTV and it boots fine with either 1.3 or 2.0x Kickstart installed via a switch.

2.30 was the last. 2.7 is earlier (2.07)

Hi!
First, thanks for the offers... but I was thinking about just puttinge the V2.30 aside, not giving it away. I already got some used pair of V1.0 ROMs.
Concerning something being wrong: the new ROM works fine with new OS Kickstarts like 2.04 or higher, BUT it also looks for all kin of external boot devides which gives an ugly red screen (like when the CDTV has found a boot drive, but no valid media). This was just annoying as the machine has not yet been expanded with more RAM, gadgets etc.
So everything is fine now.
Thanks again.
