I know there are no drivers available for PCI wifi cards on Mediator busboards, which is why we have to use Ethernet cards with wifi bridges, or PCMCIA wireless cards.
I am just wondering if there is a reason for this? Is there some technical reason why a driver has not been developed yet? Is it even possible/likely?

If there is a driver for pcmcia cards that use the prism2 chipset, then why don“t people make a driver for a pci card with the prism2 chipset ??? :-?

The prism2 driver on Aminet also works with Prometheus-based Amigas. I have emailed the author asking how big a job it would be to include Mediator support.
Anyone here have a clue?

I don't think that anyone can include Mediator support for any Mediator drivers other than Elbox. He would have to make some sort of agreement with Elbox first.

That sucks :-( I hope Elbox are going to develop wireless drivers.

OpenPCI support Mediator again.
AFAIK Prism2.device supports OpenPCI.
I have a prism2 PCMCIA card, and a PCI adaptor for it. When I get my miggy moved down here, I'll try it and see if it works with my Mediator.
It will be several weeks possibly even a few months before this can happen though.
