Hello!
I bought an Amiga 500 second hand.
And I cannot use any software I
download from the Internet, because
I use a PC for the "surfing".
Is there anyone who could send, sell
me some Amiga diskettes with software
to be able to read PC diskettes, or
alike?
For example, I downloaded instructions
at http://amiga.nvg.org/warlock/
(Realm of the Warlock) about WarTrans,
a little basic program to use with a
crossed modem cable to download
PC->Amiga, but I would need basic to
run it.
Are there any other possibilities?
Can anyone recommend a P.D. service
that sells such programs, in Amiga
formatted diskettes?
Are there possibilities of attaching
a PC drive to the Amiga?
USB cartridges?
Other cartridges?
Thanks a lot! :-)

You need AmigaDOS 2.x or higher to be able to read PC disks, OR you can get software that will do the job in AmigaDOS 1.x, check Aminet. Do you have WB 1.x already? You may want to buy AmigaDOS 2.x or better yet 3.1! You will need a new Kickstart ROM and Install disks for the new OS. Depends on what you want to do.

Hi,
Another alternative is to buy a PCI Catweasel card - this will allow your PC to read/write .ADF images to/from Amiga floppies...
