Title: AF 2005 GNU Catweasel
Post by: machinehead on December 17, 2005, 02:42:03 PM
Greetings!
Question:

If I install the AF2005/GNU environment on a "PEESEE" would it be possible to install a Catweasel PCI and hook a real Amiga floppy to it?

Under this configuration, would the emulation recognize the floppy connected to the Catweasel as DF:0?

Thanks for any info you can provide!
Dave

No, the CW only works with PC drives (that's what it is for, to read and write Amiga floppy disks on today's cheap standard drives).

No, unfortunately not. But you can install Amiga software which makes emulation recognize the drive as CW0 or DF4 or whatever you want.
