Title: BLIZZARD PPC 240MHz 68060 ???
Post by: nasty on December 14, 2005, 04:11:47 PM
Right im keeping an eye out for one of the above cards to replace my little 160mhz one. What kind of prices do these card usally go for? (just a rough guide) and what would be to much for a card of this nature for the A1200 e.g $600.00 would that be to low, about right or too much? I'm unsure so thats why I'm asking about a rough price guide. I now that on ebay people sometime push the price to stupid levels so I'm not wanting to pay the earth for one of these cards  :-D  cause i am playing witht he idea of replacing my PC with an A1 :-D

400 Euro or 480 USD seems to be a good price for a Blizzard 240/0600 + scsi. The ones without scsi go lower.
I recently sold my tuned one (270 mhz/060/60+scsi) for 400 Euro  :-)

thank you effy :-) So that gonna be £265 rough guess. I dont really mind if the card had a scsi or not, Im just interested in the 240mhz side  :-D I did find a 240 ppc card on ebay and put a bid on it! but i wasnt sure if i bid to much for the card. but i'll guess i'll find out in 5 days since its on ebay I guess its gonna go for stupid money. So if anyone is selling a 240PPC 060 in 6 days times let me know. :-D

I would sell to you my BPPC 060/240Mhz w/SCSI card any day for $600USD. :-)

I would also sell my other BPPC 060/160Mhz w/SCSI card any day for $500USD. :-D

Finally, if you don't need SCSI, there's yet another one which I would sell to you any day for $400USD and it's a DCE BPPC 060/160Mhz overclocked to 200Mhz (revision 2 compatible with Grex1200) with extra heatsinks attached where needed (since DCE BPPC cards do not use the standard Phase 5 heatsink + fan).
