I've been looking around some of the dealers and can't seem to locate any of the old Firecracker24 graphic boards that went with Imagine3D. I really like the program. But did they dissapear off the face of the earth? I've never seen any on Ebay even. Is it dumb to look for an older board like that?

If this board had special HW-coded fuctions for imagine (wich woulb be quite sad), then you're in no luck, because I've never seen it in auctions, and believe me I pay attention.
If not, and it's likely, then you'll have MUCH more power available by using a "RECENT" graphic card such as a bVision (http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=36&products_id=341&osCsid=de7ee8b45382ffcab5245fae67a257d7) if you can afford the CSPPC, or a secondhand CyberVision64/3D, or a PicassoII. Alternatively you have PCI solutions, but then again, where to findd a PCI GFX card ? Welcome to my nightmare, 'Duffer. :madashell:

There are still some PCI Voodoos on eBay. I got a Voodoo 3 3000 really cheap. Had to have it shipped internationally, but it works great in my Mediator :-)

Rare, yes - but they do pop up every now & then. Last one I saw was at a huge HAM/computer fest just outside of Baltimore (Timonium Fair Grounds). Dealers won't have them, your only chance is used from an individual. Try adds everywhere! Even on Yahoo's FreeCycle in your area.
