Title: D-Box CD-ROM faceplate question
Post by: motorollin on December 10, 2005, 02:48:56 PM
Here's one for owners of the D-Box tower conversion. Does your D-Box have a hinged flap on the CD-ROM faceplace, or just a hole?

The reason I ask is that I had to remove the faceplaces to install some new hardware, and in the process I noticed that there is a little hole that it looks like a flap could engage with. From the looks of it there used to be one on the other side but it has been snapped off. There was no flap loose in the box, so I don't know if there is supposed to be one or not.

I have also emailed Matthew at AmigaKit in case he can help.

Well Matthew was prompt as ever with his reply to my email, and he has informed me that a flap is supposed to be there. I managed to find it but my faceplate is broken and the flap will not stay on  :-(
