Title: Heretic 2 (patch)

I was planning on buying heretic 2, But  have the demo version of the game and get some slow down while playing the game and in other parts it runs fine. So my question is does the heretic 2 patch work??? I read this its meant to stop the slow downs but would like to know if it does rather than running out and buying the game for £25 and not enjoy playing it, I'm using the 160mhz PPC card does this thing just not have the guts to play games?

I have tried quake and quake2 on amiga, and was really dissapointed... I don't see the reason why heretic2 which is based on the Q2 engine will be any better... unless 20fps is enough for you

Heretic II, Quake 2 runs fine here on my A4000 PPC 233mhz, dunno how it runs on a 160mhz 603 PPC...maybe someone knows?

yea 20fps is abit slow. Guess it leaves me 2 choices

1)Buy it for the PC for £3
2)Buy an overpriced 240mhz ppc card if I can find one.

I know which one I would prefer but I guess its gonna be buying a copy of heretic 2 for the PC :pissed:
