Is there an archiver for the amiga similar to winzip/winrar in terms of looks and gui? I tried AnArchiver but I find it has too many bugs/probs... anything using the ppc aswell??? :-? :-?
-
Well, not with the same looks of Winrar and Winzip but still very easy to use:
D-Face (http://www.aminet.net/search.php?query=dface)
give it a try :-)
-
does it also CREATES archives? I need something to create, the unarc that comes with 3.9 is nice for me :-)
-
I use X-Arc from Netconnect 3 - works great.
Edit: found it here:
http://ftp.uni-paderborn.de/aminetbin/find?x-arc

I use Peperoni to create archive via drag&drop. Very easy and works with lha, lzx and zip.

peperoni is great :-D but unfortunately the progress bar does not work at all... why? does it display to you DJBase? mine just sits empty all the time
-
No, doesn't work here either but do you really need a progress bar?
-
ofcourse, it's nice :-D
also you can see the progress! handy for large archives...
-
Hm, ok but you can see progress also on cpu load and hdd access. 8-)
