Title: How can I reduce the number of reboots on start-up?
Post by: keropi on December 08, 2005, 07:10:17 AM
Well, all these patches and stuff needed by os3.9 and ppc , make the amiga rebbot several times before it starts and it is highly boring... I recon that by using BlitzKick I can have all the patches installed on a single reboot? anyone with a ppc tried that? can you please post the startup-sequence line of blitzkick? have you used it to replace setpatch on 3.9bb2?

Check the BlizKick docs. IIRC there's a section about using the 3.9 ROM updates with BlizKick.

Blizkick is the best thing to use.  I use it to reduce the reboots to one instead of three times.

Ok, I used the romupdatesplit, and it gives me 4 unknown modules, should I load them too??? or just ram-handler, fastfilesystem, consolde.device and filesystem.resource?

Are you using the latest version of BlizKick? I think that problem was fixed in a later release.

Check out Piru's site:

I got BlizKick-1.24beta8.lha from that page, isn't that the latest version?
