Title: Showing amiga-video with a tvcard?
Post by: lillPiP on December 05, 2005, 10:52:45 PM
How do I do to show the amiga-video in my tvcard?
I have P96 installed, using a Voodoo5 and a Terratec Tvcard with a Mediator PCI.
When using a program that uses the amiga-video the monitor gets black for me. I am unable to get it to my tvcard.

How do you have it connected?

Well I have a Commodore A520 MOD connected to the A4000's 23-pin Video-port. From the A520 I have a RF connected between this and the Tvcard, using Elbox Channel 39. My screen switch off (gets black) and the signal is only on the Videoport.

What is the software you are attempting to run? My guess is it's a game, which is not OS friendly so is turning off the OS. This has the effect of disabling your Mediator, Voodoo, TV Card and P96.

Set the DISPLAYCHAIN tooltype in the Voodoo monitor file to NO and it should work.

Is this supposed to work with most games?
Tried with Worms DC :-D but it didn't work.
Then tried HBmonopoly    and using a "own screen" in the setup, and it seemed to work.
