Title: Making Screensavers?
Post by: nasty on December 03, 2005, 02:26:11 PM
I've made an animation(avi)in 3ds max and was wondering if there is anyway. I could turn it into a animated screensaver for the amiga

I think BlizBlanker has some sort of execute command option where after x amount of minutes you could set it to load moovid or something.

You'd probably have better luck if you could somehow have your amination in the anim format, this is far better supported than AVIs.

I used to have a set of scripts and utilities that converted from a set of stills rendered on C4D on the amiga to an AVI file.  Perhaps you could find some similar tools for that.

Sadly free screensavers (or blankers in Amiga parlence) seem to be rather few and far between.

converting the file to anim should'nt be that hard, I found an anim converter on aminet. AnimConverter Info (http://aminet.net/package.php?package=gfx/conv/AnimConvert.lha)So I'll try that and see what happens. thanks again guys
