I've recently changed jobs (same company) and part of my new role involves publishing information on our internal TV system which, guess what, uses SCALA.
Sadly, it is on Windows, but I was amazed at how familiar the interface looked - the layout and font are very similar to SCALA MM200 that I used on my A1200.
I was browsing around the SCALA site for the search term 'Amiga' and I was amazed at how many ex-GVP staff work there now in the top jobs.
I get more training in December, but I'm just happy to be using a blast from the past!
(by the way, the company I work for is E.ON UK)

I got demo version of SCALA for windows at work to try, but never had used it before so it didn't impress me much.

Well done !
Normaly you won't see much differences exept in the plugins. :-)

@AndyFC
Guess What! Im getting paid to use SCALA as well (Sort of) :-D but on the Amiga
I am doing Visuals in an Electronica Night Club. I am using mostly SCALA mm300 and other Software to do the live visuals. SCALA rules!
By the Way SCALA ICD (InfoChannel Designer)on the PC is intensly awesome............better than PowerPoint........it would be even better if it was on an Amiga.

Many tv stations here and info channels used scala on amiga until a few years ago.. I even saw a guru meditation on a huge projection tv showing ads at our airport a few years ago.
Sadly they seem to have mostly replaced it with pcs running scala or powerpoint these days..

What a cool job! But check this
Just yesterday I got paid $100AU just to turn up at an opening and switch my Amiga on. Just a little VJ set with some unfinished code I am working on.
I even sold a couple of CD's :-) I'm so happy!
the easiest hundred I ever made ! :-D
