For Sale : new (old stock) - never used - still wrapped in original plastic - internal Flickerfixer Flickermagic scandoubler for A1200 or A4000 - detailed manual included - made of two parts (just uploaded detailed pictures to The Big Book Of Hardware) - shipping to any place on the planet is included in price so no extra´s - scandoubler will be sent as a "letter" and not as a "commercial package" so you won´t have to pay anything to your custom service - PayPal preferred but other payment also possible.

If you want picutures of the scandoubler and manual then just mail me :-)

Actually I have two of them for sale, both never used. One is a FlickerMagic and the other is the identical brother ScanMagic  :-)

I am interested in getting one of these.  In fact I posted a thread on here requesting one not too long ago.

Let me know if you still have them.  I would like to see the pictures and work out the details.

I actually attempted to place an order with Eyetech for one, but they seem to be completely non-responsive.  I placed an order online several weeks ago and have heard NOTHING back.

I also have got an internal scandoubler Micronik Scandy 1200 for Amiga 1200, condition : used but works perfect, price : 105 Euro or 72 GBP or 124 USD, shipping included !!!!

There seems to be some confusing information here. DoctorJ got my pictures and found out that this DCE scandoubler is not the same as the one on The Big Book and also not like the one on Amiga Hardware Database. Both sites do not have the scandoubler like I have. All three scandoublers I had were identical, THIS is the last one I now have (http://users.pandora.be/DiscoVmax/Amiga/ScanMagic.jpg), but DoctorJ tells me :
"There were DCE versions made with no flickerfixer capability.  So what you have pictured I believe is the minimum version available. Scandoubler only.  May only work in A1200.  No genlock capability."

I didn´t know of a version that is not a flickerfixer becaue the manual stated clearly FlickerFixer FlickerMagic (http://users.pandora.be/DiscoVmax/Amiga/November_29_2005%20006.jpg) as you can see on the link, and this is the manual of the ScanMagic  (http://users.pandora.be/DiscoVmax/Amiga/November_29_2005%20001.jpg)  but the scandoubler is identical to the other two I had. Any bright advice on this  :-?

hmmm... I have a dce flickermagic that does scandoubling and  flicker fixing, and it does not look like that, mine has an extra board to clip on, it comes in 3 pieces not 2 like that one. But I suppose it is better not to have the flicker-fixing, it looks lame... really! it's not that good, for example there is no de-interlacing and it causes gfx errors, like on super-skidmarks hi-res mode, the cars are flashing...  :madashell:

Do you mean that flickerfixing is only good for a Workbench environment ???  :-?

Strange, I always thought flickerfixers were the best you could have  :-?
Can´t anybody say for sure why on the remaining scandoubler there are two chips not mounted in opposite to the ones on The Big Book ??? Is it really the flickerfixer thing ? If so then why is it called FlickerFixer FlickerMagic ? The other two were identical to the one I have now, though the remaining manual talks about ScanMagic ...

I bet it's the flicker-fixing part that's missing... also it's missing another clip-on pcb with 2 wires, again for the ff thingie... I think  :roll:
