Title: Nightlong GFX Corruption!
Post by: nasty on November 28, 2005, 12:47:47 PM
Whenever I play nightlong, I get graphic corruption in the game using the ppc exe (big or small)the lines go away when I walk thru them or go to the next screen, but they just appear somewhere else. pic included

I only get this on the ppc exe, if i use the 1.1 or 1.2 68k exe the game runs fine without any corruption but it has alot of slow downs. so I'm wondering if any of you guys will have a clue on whats causing the corruption

setup
A1200, mediator LT, Voodoo 3,PPC,all updates bb1/bb2/warp etc etc rtg master.

I would check the cooling. In the pc world artifacts like that appear when a gpu/videomem gets too hot. Try installing a extra casefan or just pop the side of you case and point a housefan(not a heaterfan) towards the open case. If the problem goes away you know what the problem is. If not there might be lack of power or component damage.

Are you using the latest drivers and patches for your voodoo and ppc card?

Hmm, could anyone mention how Nighlong might perform on a 060/PicassoIV setup? Would it be playable?
