chose a "16bit Stereo ++" (or whatever is called) mode in AHI Prefs. Sometimes it works.

Which Player are you using?

Go to AHI prefs. Check that Unit 0, 1, 2 and 3 have more than 1 'Channels' selected. I use 32 for all units myself.

okey, it was mine fault i was using a wrong jack converter.
i used a 'mono' jack converter instead of a 'stereo' converter.
Thanks all for your replies.

you need this jack plug:
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=996&TabID=1&C=SEO&U=SEOsearchPages&doy=search

i bought two of them , 1 for input the amiga sound into the toccata and one for the output to my HIFi set.
that jack plug converter cost me 2.20 euro each.
the left jackinput is for line in, the right jackinput is lineout.
Middle jackinput is microphone iirc.

here i foiund a manual;
http://amiga.resource.cx/manual/Toccata.pdf

it's german only :(  but it helped me :)

Found this topic while searching for an answer to the same problem.

The guy I bought the Toccata from sent me three jack converters (4.3mm to two rca)

I'm getting some kind of mono audio from one of the speakers this way. (I'm not sure if the audio is stereo on a single speaker, or only left part of the audio is being carried over through the cable). When I try panning audio,t the following happens:

left: no audio, a low cracking volume.
middle: left speaker
right: sound volume increases on the left speaker

It seems lke one of the channels has a very low volume. Maybe dirty Zorro slot? or faulty capacitor on Toccata?
