Well I've been playing around with videos tonight on my amiga and have'nt had much luck getting any off them to work. I keep getting "Unsupported compression: AVI_IV32"
or Unsupported compression: AVI_3IV2" (tryed the 3ivx codec and the special version of moovid with no joy and have'nt had much luck with any mov or QT files. so could you guys tell me what codecs are available to us and what codecs work on 3.9 qt/mpeg/avi etc i've got boing bag 1 and 2 installed

I only know of one player for the classics who can handle the IVxx codecs. It is called softcinema but it is abandoned (surprise!) and i am not sure if registration is still possible..

@nasty
Try Frogger. Handles IV31/2 and -many- other codecs.

While playing around with amiga codecs I stumbled across a version of moovid (gold 1.0) I bought awhile back so I visited there site and noticed there was a Divx version of moovid, so I thought great so I took one of the free avi files from the moovid cd and encoded it into a Divx Movie 16bit/ 24knz audio using Divx 4.12, but whenever I try to watch the film I just get "only 8/16/24/32 support yet" is this moaning about FPS.
Also is there any updates for moovid as I see on his site they have an update for 1.5->1.6 but none for before that. as when I watch a normal avi clip moovid displays the movies in black and white but it used to display in colour?
