I need a gif library!

I typed
gif library
into the aminet search engine and it found nothing!!!

How can Amiga not have a gif.library?!?

If you only want to load gfx files you could use guigfx.library, as that does all the datatype handling for you.

I need to load AND save .gifs

And not those wimpy .gifs either; I need the kind with the built in supercompression.

Can GUIgfx.library save gfx in .gif format?

Nope, it doesn't have any saving functions  :-(
I doubt you'll have much luck with datatypes either, cos it isn't mandatory for them to have a save method.

Just a brainfart, but I wonder if it'd be possible to use Personal Paints saver plugins?
