Title: WinXP wireless network Addtron AWA-100
Post by: amigadave on November 24, 2005, 03:43:28 AM
I have really looked through almost every website result (163) trying to find a Windows XP driver for my Addtron AWA-100 wireless NIC with no luck.  I could have sworn that I had this working on a different computer with the Home version of XP, but I am having no luck on XP Pro.  The smartest people I know are here on this site, so do any of you know how I can manually set up this wireless NIC on XP Pro to get it to connect to my wireless network.  I am NOT a network expert and would like to try a few more things before giving up on this attempt, specially when I am almost certain that I had it working previously on XP Home edition.

After installation I pressume that you'll see a new network adapter.
Then you could configure the LAN settings accordingly to your network topology (DHCP, MAC address Authentication, WEP Key etc.)
Feel free to PM me for any questions

No such luck, the adapter won't start "Code 10", so it does not show up as an available network adapter to configure or enter any settings.  Now I am thinking and hoping that the PCI adapter that the Addtron awa-100 or awp-100 card slides into will accept any other PCMCIA wireless networking card and I can get one that is newer and has drivers for WinXP.  What do you think?
