Hi all,
At the risk of sounding like an attendee at an AA meeting:
Hi, I'm Marc. I live in metro Detroit, MI, USA. I've owned Amigas since about 1987, when I got my A2000. Presently I have a 500 and 1000, as well, but I never use them...they sit in my closet and collect dust with my Atari 800 (circa 1981).
I have been having a lot of fun boosting my 2000 with goodies from eBay, now including:
A2065 Ethernet card
A2320 Display Enhancer Board (flicker-fixer)
GVP Impact II '030/40MHz board with 4MB RAM, 2Gb hard disk and CD-ROM
OS ROM Switcher, OS1.3 and OS3.1 (running OS3.5)
And, just purchased...a Video Toaster 2000 card! :-D
So, this is the system I prayed for when I was young and poor, and now I am older and not so poor but the gear is a lot cheaper. I still have tons of my old games...there is no substitue for games like Archon or Speedball, even on my PS2.
Anyway I ran across this site and I am delighted to hook up with die-hard Amigans from around the world.
Amiga Forever!
Marc
