Title: A4000 won't boot with key connector connected...
Post by: Jose on November 21, 2005, 03:35:18 PM
Hi. Pretty much that. I've also tried plugging it the other way around, but the same happends, the PSU starts making a tick sound and power light flashes intermitently.
Of course, I ended up leaving it off the motherboard and I don't really need it, but is there a way to correct the problem and have it connected ?

@Jose:

It sounds like it makes +5V and ground short-circuit and activating the psu short-circuit protection.

@Patrik
I guess so. I don't know where it could be though. The front of the A4000 has a metal ring with a mess of cables but they're all covered by plastic.
