Is it possible to get 60Hz in 1280x1024 resolution with Picasso IV?
I'd like to use LCD monitor (Samsung 970P) in its native resolution, but it always says "invalid mode" because its not 60Hz. :-?

Have you tried to produce a valid screenmode with PicassoMode?

yep, I have tried but increasing pixel clock rate increases vertical scan only to some 54 Mhz. then the monitor prints message "not optimal mode, blabla" and after some time turns off. when I reduce resolution to 1024x768, it is possible to get 60, but picture is a bit blured because its not in native resolution :-?

@orange:
You can in 8-bit and that will be at a pixelclock of 100-110MHz something. If you read both the CyberGraphX and Picasso96 documentation you should be able to translate this (http://www.megaburken.net/~patrik/1280x1024_vesa.png) proper screenmode to Picasso96Mode:ish timing parameters.
(edit):
This (http://web.archive.org/web/20030626122021/www.vgr.com/cgxmode/) and this (http://www.picasso96.cogito.de/ScreenModeFAQ.html) page should help you translate the parameters.

nice, it works with test screen, but how do I use settings with PicassoModeTNG ? when I try to load them with Picasso96Mode nothing happens. its so damn complicated to set it up.
:evil: :madashell: :madashell: :madashell: :madashell:
edit: oh {bleep}, it seems i've broken something, now my LCD won't display AGA modes :-(
edit: ahhh, AGA is somehow fine again :-)

@MrZammler:
Producing a valid screenmode with PicassoMode, isnt that a contradiction?
