@PG:

If you have a 68k, WarpScumm (http://www.algonet.se/~chaozer/warpscumm.shtml) is probably your only hope as it is the only version that does not use the regular SDL library and thus is fast. WarpScumm has unfortunately not been updated for a while though, so it probably doesnt support as many games as the more recent versions.

If you have a ppc which offers substantially more processing power, you can take a look at this (http://people.freenet.de/uweryssel/scumm_en.html) page for a WarpOS version.

Unfortunately WarpScumm doesn´t support Broken Sword 1 or 2, wish it had since plain ScummVM on a ´060 or less is sloooow...and the sound is all chopped up.

Thanks for your help!
I have now tried the ppc version on my Blizzard PPC 060/200 with Bvision and Cybergraphx 4.
Broken Sword 2 runs but are a bit slow...
Should it be possible to run that game at normal speed or does it require more cpu power?

Download ScummVM 0.7.1 for AmigaOS 68k!

The latest "official" ScummVM for 68K (above) now also has an option to adjust the audio playback frequency. Dropping it to half of normal really improves playback quality and eliminates chopiness.

But the "newer" games on ScummVM like Monkey3 and the Broken Swords just seem to be too much for the poor little 68K to handle (since they're double the resolution of older games). Even my A1 struggles with them.

   I use BlazeWCP with ScummVM,it really speeds up the games!

i suggest you to copy all games on CD into harddisk.
Play the game directly from CD-ROM is quite slow even on my amithlon...
