Title: G-rex+Tvcard+Visionary
Post by: lillPiP on November 17, 2005, 03:53:56 PM
I have A G-rex PCI 4000D and a Terratec TValue tvcard and Visionary-software. The problem is that the system hangs when starting the software. Do I must have a PCI GFX or will my CV64/3D+SD do fine?
The chipset on the Terratec TValue is a BT848.
I have Superlayers at ON.

Which Version of Visionary do you use? The Grex 4000d has full DMA on all slots so it doesnt need a PCI graphic card.

Hi DjBase,
I have downloaded Visionary from your website.

Well, after reinstalling OS3.9 with all drivers, and adding a Voodoo 5 5500 GFX-card the Visionary-program works. BUT, I can't get the tuner to work. Just the first cm's in top of the screen shows something like the tv does when not having a channel fixed. The composite do work actually.

Unfortunately getting a TV-card running in G-Rex is more or less a matter of luck. While I have a card that is reported to be working Visionary only says that there is no TV-card.
Just matching chip and tuner don't seam to be enough, you even have to have a particular revision of that card.

Well it's really annoying for sure!
Anyone has a working tvcard for G-rex + Visionary for sale?
