Title: Huh... a new dane has arrived

Well, apart from having my nick raped, so it became dylansmrjo (instead of dylansmrjones) everything is fine.

I'm a 27 yo. computer science student, and my history goes back to Commodore 64 (the best ever!), as well as the Amstrad 664 (and mac and ibm pc but hush... I didn't write that). Never owned an Amiga, but did (ab)use my friend's Amiga quite a bit :-P

I'm mainly here just to watch the community while I'm saving money to the AmigaOne. AmigaOS 4 pretty much meets my requirements to an OS (a lean mean machine :madashell: ), so I'm going to get my first Amiga as soon as I've got the money.

And after that... it's time for coding for the AmigaOne :-)

Anyway, it'll take a few months to get the money for that AmigaOne, but I will get it - legally, mind you :-P

I love this platform -> PPC + AOS4 + GCC = GRREEEAAAT

Why wait for an A1? A lot of the time, the older models go pretty cheaply, although, then you'll need that card, and then that peripheral to make it nicer, and so on to infinity.......

Yeah, save up for an A1.
