I have an opportunity to purchase a Retina Z3. I was wondering if anyone was using one of these and what they thought of it?
It'd be for my A3000
Any input on these is welcome.
Thanks.

I used to have one in my A4000.
Nice card easy to install speedy only downpoint is no pass through.
You could use a monitorswitch for this.
Nice card for internetting and just running a "higher" workbench.
I also had and have a picasso2 also a nice card but the retina was much faster.
Only thing that kept me using the picasso is the passthrough.

I´ve got one too but didn´t install it yet. Seems to be a very fast Zorro3 card with no problems :-)

Check if it has a small daugterboard stuck on it, if so DO BUY IT! This means that you have a enabled video output. And these are hard to come by.
I own one without this board, but it is indeed a very solid RTG board anyway, which runs nicely with Picasso96 and cyberGFX.

It seems like a very nice board, but darn if I'm not having trouble getting Picasso96 to give me the right settings to make it work without crazy flicker.
I've posted another thread in the software forum with my issues:
