Well I finally got round to getting an avatar, her name is Smog but she is often known as Small.

Why are they called Avatars, according to my dictionary Avatars are gods or goddesses appearing in bodily form?

Indeed, according to the http://www.avatara.org/ (http://www.avatara.org/) site it has come to mean "an embodiment, a bodily manifestation of the Divine."

BTW, Avatar spelt backwards is Ratava
