Can anyone with a Spectrum 28/24 tell me the pinouts for the monitor passthrough cable? (15 - 9 pin).
I got it working in dual monitor mode, but I can't transfer anything between screens except the mouse pointer.
Trouble is, I'm spoiled by the twin monitor setup on my PC. I probably expect too much of the poor old 4000.

Anyone ......?
Anyone at all.....?!
:bump:

If you've got the two monitors working then there's nothing wrong with your cable...
The fact that you can't move things between the screens except for your mousepointer is not a cable fault.

The problem is, I haven't got a cable at all!
I want to make one and just use 1 monitor.

Ah ok!
Didn't get that at first
I made a cable myself for a Piccolo SD64 that works fine. I guess it's the same pin layout for your RTG card, but I'm not sure.
Here is the link I used (it's in German but the pin layout is in English so you shouldn't have to many problems!):

According to the GVP Spectrum user's manual, that is correct for the nine pin plug.

Thanks guys, I'll get out the soldering iron and give it a try!
