A friend of mine is attending a few of these shows, thought People here would find it interesting.

What I really found interesting is something they are planning:

The Commodore 64 Parallel Super-Computer!
The Vintage Computer Festival has plans to build a massively parallel Commodore 64 supercomputer. A system design has been developed but volunteers are needed to implement the hardware and code the operating software for the system. It is hoped that the project can be completed in time for exhibition at VCF 6.0, where the 20th anniversary of the Commodore 64 will be celebrated. If you'd like to contribute to the project, please send e-mail to vcf@vintage.org.
anyways -- enjoy the website

Sorry to be a nitpicker but wasnt the 20th anniversary of the C64 3 years ago? The Amiga just celebrated its 20th anniversary this past July.
Edit: I guess I'm correct as VCF 6 was held in 2003.
