Title: Feelin : Videos

I was bored so I decided to shoot two videos showing some nice features of Feelin such as alpha blending support (http://ryanthusar.free.fr/gofromiel/feelin/videos/feelin_alpha_blending.avi) and XML applications (http://ryanthusar.free.fr/gofromiel/feelin/videos/feelin_xml.avi). Enjoy ! ;-)

EDIT: Because of complains ;-), I've replaced former RealVideo files by XVID ones. Enjoy... again :-)

You need a tripod, badly!

Your project looks really cool but for the 2nd video; can you talk us through what the changes were to the XML file and what impact they had each time? (I was slightly confused by what the difference was between the 2nd and 3rd instance of you program)

Feelin looks like it totally rocks.

I'm guessing the XML applications bit lets you knock out quick guis using xml?

Feelin   is like some sort of app like MUI correct?

Does it work that cool on Non Gfx card Amigas such as ECS and AGA?
This stuff looks mighty cool!!!!

You ought to be rewarded for supporting Amigas!

What OS are you  using in that Video? 3.1 or 3.9?

@Tangletown: a tripod would be nice indeed, for stability I've used a stack of books ;-) The difference between the 2nd and 3rd instance if that the "fill" color for the window decorator is full red, but it's only really visible when the window is inactive (this can be seen at the very end of the video)

@lorddef: Feelin (http://www.gofromiel.com/feelin/) can generate whole applications as well as single or groups of object. This XML support has no limitation, e.i. any class available can be used in the XML source. The fact is that it's easier to create application using XML than C.

@leirbag28: Feelin (http://www.gofromiel.com/feelin/) is similar to MUI, but it's an object-oriented framework on it's own, it doesn't rely on BOOPSI like MUI does. Thus it does not suffer from BOOPSI's limitations. Moreover, Feelin have it's own memory system which is A LOT faster and secure than EXEC's one.

Feelin works really fine on non-gfxcard Amigas, except that you won't have alpha-blending but simple transparency, and instead of gradients a median color. If you take a look at the available screenshots (http://www.gofromiel.com/feelin/screens.php), you'll see Feelin running on an A500 with 16 colors.

Once again I am amazed and grateful that something of this quality can be freely released for my favourite computer. (in 2005!)
