Hi!
I have a Amiga 4000D with a CSMK3 + Grex PCI 4000D running OS 3.9.
I have a soundcard based on the FM-801-chipset installed in the G-rex. I have installed the AHI-package and after this I installed the driver for the soundcard. Well I can't get the card to work?! In PREFS I find the AHI-software and start it, here I only have the Paula/Delfina/Filesave to choose from. I have checked the Devs:AHI for the FM-801-driver and it is where it should be.
Can anyone help me, please?!

Is the card detected at all? Tried pciscan?
-
Yes, all the cards are detected, using the 'newpciscan' from the g-rex cd.
Does it matter which Pci-port it's connected to? That shouldn't matter since all ports will work with dma or?
-
It shouldnt matter which slot is used on the G-rex 4000. Do you used the latest sound drivers?
-
reinstall the software (ALL . . . AddAudioModes that comes with the AHI archive also)
-
Even the OS too?
I have reinstalled the AHI package many times....=(

I know that official choice for an FM-801 card with Grex4000 is Terratec 512i. Perhaps not all FM801 chipset cards behave the same, and some may be incompatible with Grex. Just speculating. No facts. :-?
