I DiD! I DiD tee a pink dwagon!
And for a few minutes I thought, "What kind of virus is this?!
Whew, it's just the March 30th pink dragon in the early startup menu. :-P
-
Ah, you mean the pink "Nessie" mouse pointer? Think it was discovered as late as last year, right?

I sometimes see pink elephants...but thats only after a heavy "session". :-D
-
Is this a virus or an easter egg (presumably the latter)?
-
It's an easter egg, made by this woman whose name lost me.... Looks like Lee Taran's work, the girl in the early DPaint team....

@ xaccrocheur
Is the easter egg in the early startup menu or elsewhere? It would have to be on the kickstart chips wouldn't it? Who's this girl to do with the DPaint team got to do with it? :-)

No, BB2 replaces the early startup menu.

I detect some very bored developers :-)

How do I get my pink dragon? My early startup menus seem to be the same as normal :-?
---edit---
Of course not - I don't have 3.9
-
I had the pink dragon (cute sea monster) today as well although I've
seen it before.
When I switched my Amiga on today it didn't fully boot so I rebooted
and went into the early boot menu and there it was. Booted fine then.
I guess as it's pink it must be a girl, so what's her name.
-
@all :
Your clock has to be set on the 30th march and then you display the bootmenu.
About that girl, don't recall where I read that this pink dragon MAY have be inspired by the work of a girlie who used to hang with the team.
And well, it reminnded of Lee Taran's work on early DPaint, what was the name ? Wait...
Prism ! That was it !
Well, it may have noting to do wit da pink dwagon ;)

The nessie only appears on AGA/ECS/OCS. If you have a BVision and are looking at the GFX card screen you'll only see a normal mouse pointer. :whack:

Am I the only person here, who having seen the title of this thread, thought Jonathan Ross had become a member?

Darn it, my 1230xa doesn`t autoconfig so the darn thing never remembers the date so I can`t get it! :-D
