In case you're dreadfully bored, this is a 12-minute home video starring myself and Becky. It's really silly and warm and goofy... And fast internet means you can share twelve minutes of silly warm goofiness with your friends with minimal inconvenience. So, why not! :-)

(42MB, right-click and save-as. It's an MPEG-4 (H.264/AAC), plays fine in Quicktime and VLC here.)

I was dreadfully bored, but I didn't want to install a yet another media player/plugin. This Windows install is only two weeks old and already I am having to do a lot of 'housekeeping'

all you need is quicktime.

are you high, punky?
jesus, that's funny.
I'm still watching it - god only knows why...

Yes. :-) I'm glad the video amused you!
As for the format, although I don't like the "doesn't everyone have Quicktime anyway?" mentality, H.264 is an official part of the MPEG-4 standard, so it's not as though it's some obscure proprietary codec. But still, that's up to the individual.

Can't play it.
Tried Quicktime (I don't have Quicktime Pro)
Windows Media Player, Winamp, Virtual Dub, even Adobe Premiere.
No go.
Sound is fine though, no video.
-
Hm. :-(
Well, I won't suggest you update Quicktime just to watch the video. (You don't need Pro but it does have to be pretty recent, I think.) :-)
-
Was able to watch it in Opera using Quicktime Alternative. (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/QuickTime_Alternative.htm) Might be a good option for those who wish the view the video but dont want to install Quicktime Player (like me). As to the content of the video.... No comment :-P
-
It is strange .. even if I update, and then try to play it: it says 'there are missing components required to play the file, but these are not available on the Quicktime server'
If I try the Quicktime alternative, the GUI changes and icon of the file, but same output: sound only.

TPG's lucky I'm fasting and refraining from my typical "oo er missus" sense of humour. Still, glad to see some one else stepped in for me

Glad I could help!
