Anyone had any luck mounting one of these on the Amiga? Any software or mountlist entries that should work? I tried the cf0 device off aminet using their compactflash.device and scsi.device (A4000D IDE) but they didn't work. Using scsi.device and the cf0 mountlist got the drive recognized, but couldn't read the card or initialize it. No matter what size card was in it, it'd report it as an 8GB device (which would rock, but it's not true). Any ideas?

Do you refer to cdf.lha ? This is for PCMCIA only.
I would try to use HDToolbox (if you only use Amiga data) or Fat95 (if you want to read PC formatted media, e.g. from a digital camera). Should be that easy.

Yeah, cdf. It does say that it supports ATAPI now. Anywho, I did change their mount list to use the 4000's scsi.device and use fat95. If I use HD Toolbox though it will make it Amiga Only, or can it use fat95? I was going to try fat95 but it said it'd wipe out and partition, etc. But yeah, this is for getting pictures off a camera.

Don't use HDToolbox, make a mountlist that uses Fat95. Fat95 docs explain how to make mountlists that read PC-style partition tables.
It takes a little poking around, but I spent an afternoon fiddling with it and successfully mounted all the partitions of an HD taken from a windows box.

Read docs? Egads!!!!

Well, went through the fat95 docs, but still getting uninitialized using this mountlist.
