Title: Replace Panasonic Drive for A1200?
Post by: TjLaZer on October 20, 2005, 06:35:15 PM
My A1200 internal drive has gone on a perminent vacation.  Can a regular Panasonic drive be modded easily for use with the Amiga?  I remember reading about it but never saw any instructions.  What other drives will fit the A1200 case w/o hacking?

Not sure to be honest, isnt there a Chinon drive thatr fit's in (without the panasonic-adaptor board)...?

Finding one may be a problem.

Damn can someone translate to English?  I tried and it did not work.  I see there are different texts on modding a Panasonic JU257 to the Amiga!  I saw the JU257.LHA on aminet looks different.  Well I will try to get a drive and go from there....
