Okay, I need help again.
XP on a machine with RealPlayer for Palm installed for use with a Zire31.
Had to reinstall XP - did so, no issues.
Install RealPlayer for palm, no errors until I try to run RealPlayer - get GPF referencing rpmn3260.dll.
No searches ANYWHERE can point me in the right direction.
I'll even take an alternative to RealPlayer that will allow my son to connect his Zire31 and get his music onto it (this is the currently preferred fix); I'll even consider a Linux offering if it will run under Mandrake (Mandriva now) (this is a future fix eventually)
If you can resolve this, kudos. I'll buy you a beer if ever you're in Otisville, MI Ada's Tavern on a Friday night; ask for Mark, the Karaoke DJ (yeah, but it's a job...) or if I'm in your neck of the woods.
I already uninstalled, cleaned registry, etc.

Did you install a Windows version of RealPlayer also on the "host" XP machine?
-
Nope. Hmm. Not sure if the original indtall of XP had it either...
-
I would double check that I had the latest service packs (or at least the same hotfixes that you had last time and do a scan disk on the XP drive just to rule out oddness. I'm sure you've already done this.
Was there an issue that forced you to reinstall in the first place?

Same stuff as first install.
@roguebeck:
I got some @#@$!@#$ thingy that I couldn't get rid of no matter what I tried (AdAware, Spybot S&D, even MS AntiSpyware) which kept re-installing 180 search assistant and a host of other cr*pware ! So I wiped and started over.
