Title: GFX 2D / 3D Artist wanted
Post by: Micha1701 on March 28, 2003, 12:45:36 PM
Hi!

I´m the programmer of the CIV-Clone "Realms of Power" and I´am searching for a GFX Artist who would paint or create the towns of our game.

To give you a small look on which state our game currently is, here is a shot from the map:

(http://www.patric-hemgesberg.de/micha/map.jpg)

BTW, because the game is currently programmed for the Amiga Computer (and also works on emulators such as WinUAE), there will be no much profit to share. It´s just for fun...

Interests please write an E-Mail to: M.Lanser@t-online.de
or make a post in this forum.

Bye!

-Michael Lanser

Hi,

Indeed looking great. You can always drop by on our list as Jon suggested. I am no gfx man myself but there are a few on the list that are.

I'm just over a game project as 2D graphician, and I don't want to do that again for at least half a year  :crazy:

But the game is very nice so far, I love it's graphic. If it will ever be commercial I'll definitely buy it.

Frederik would have a try at it like he said on the list. But offcourse it would be nice if there were more people.

Till now, we are 3 people in the team.

Two artists (one for the units and one for the tiles) and I (the programmer)...

Not enough to join us?

Yep, looks nice indeed... I'm working on isometric 3D strategy game of my own now (Don't worry, it's very different from yours), currently for Classic Amigas and MorphOS.

I'm really surprised to find out about more and more people having interesting game projects :-)

I can do some 3D GFX.

Also I really fancy doing some coding  :-)

@yssing:

Don´t have a mind to join? You don´t have to paint 18 hours a day ;-)

@bloddline:

The game is written in "C".
There was one guy who asked for a AROS version a few days ago... ;-)

Hi!

I recently uploaded a website for this game.

Have a look at:

Realms of Power (http://http:/www.realmsofpower.de.vu)

There is also an english section, click the flag in the topleft corner.

Than ks for the complement but the very sad fact for me is that Lightwave for the Amiga has not been updated and I cannot afford to maintain my machine to a professional level.

Instead I am forced to use a PC while desperataley willing OS4 to arrive soon. In most ways the Amiga was by far the machine for visual professionals.

As soon as I possibly can I will ditch my PC for a truly visual professional computer.

Take care

If you're still in need of graphicians, please tell me.

I can arrange this and many more, of course if you're still interested.

I've send you a mail, but in case you haven't received it, please catch me here or tumash(at)ldreams.net
