Melon Dezign are offering all their old stuff as free downloads (see http://www.delamelon.com/home.htm). I downloaded Naughty Ones which comes as an ADF image, and wrote it to a floppy. I then tried to use WHDLoad to install it to hard disk. When I run it WHDLoad errors. I booted from the floppy and it appears to be a cracked version :(
I hate to ask this for fear of being branded a pirate, but does any kind soul have a HD Installed original they would be willing to email me? Seems ok to me from a legal standpoint, seeing how Melon are giving it away anyway.
Thanks
Mark

If a mod doesn't object you can get a copy from me.

How long should we give it before we assume a mod is not going to object? ;)
Check your pm dawiper.

Will see what happens.

If it is indeed free then there should not be a problem. Nice game btw, would love to own the original boxed one!
-
Ok, then. As I can't see any problems at all with this. Mark, you got mail.

Thanks a lot dawiper, just got it and it's working great.
I used to have the original boxed version but I threw it out a long time ago when I moved and have to get rid of a lot of stuff. I miss all those old games in their boxes :-(
I did actually complete the game once, but it's great fun to play.

Old games are much fun. I remeber when I brought back my amiga from storage and started the first games. I almost got tears in my eyes. Currently playing Settlers.

I know what you mean. I have many fond childhood memories of playing Cannon Fodder with my best friend. My friend emigrated and we lost touch. Playing the game now always brings a hint of sadness.
I have contacted Melon Dezign and asked if they would be interested in distributing the Naughty Ones ADF and HD version on back2theroots, so others can enjoy it too.
