Title: SID tracker for Amiga!???
Post by: Leifern on October 11, 2005, 01:45:04 AM
Is there a SID-Tracker for the Amiga, or any other ways to write SID-music on the Amiga?

I don't know of a SID tracker, but you could use ProTracker with SID samples.

Theres Abyss' Highest Experience (AHX) here (http://amigascne.org/abyss/ahx/), for AOS 4 there's GoatTracker on OS4Depot.net and finally there is a sidplay.library that emulates 6510 processor and SID chip.

Is it possible to call the sidplayer library from within octamed and use those sid sounds? Other than that, i do a fair bit of 'chippy' type tunes just by using the synth within octamed. Takes a bit of figuring out how to create the various sounds, especially the percussive noises but its well fun, get the old arpeggio command on the go and you're in c64 heaven!

No, but there is basic synth sound support in OctaMED.
