Let me ask a stupid question.
Does AROS use the SDL library in anyway for graphics and sound?
-
I wasn't sure so I did a quick google... It seems it does as there are some screen shots on AROS.org that indicate that it does. There was also a news item at AROS-Exec.org about E-UAE for AROS not using SDL as the current implimentation is not up to the task. Lastly, there is an open bounty of SDL ( http://www.thenostromo.com/teamaros/bounty_details_16.html ) graphic and sound libraries.

Hmmm...
If anyone's followed my "PPC Amiga real cheap" thread, I'd like to post a $100 bounty for anyone who can compile me a .dol (gamecube executable) file that boots into AROS PPC capable of using the GC controller as a mouse and/or using a GC controller->ps/2 adapter keyboard/mouse and access the DVD drive and a filesystem via the broadband adapter (BBA).
Is the bounty situation something where I have to put the money in an account up front or is it payable by me when it's done?
A few users on this forum have also expressed some interest in this and may help with added donations.

No.
AROS does have a SDL implementation though and you can find various SDL apps ported to AROS.
