Title: FPU usage without crystal!

I got a ram card with an FPU from ebid. However it dosent have an FPU crystal with it!!

Is it safe to use without a crystal or should I take the FPU out??


What crystal do I need?? On the FPU it says

the FPU uses (in your case) the same cristal that the main CPU uses.

Anyway is possible to use a separate (and higher) cristal for the FPU, configurable usually through a jumper.

btw . . . the FPU its a 68882 at 33 Mhz

Which brand/model the RAM expansion is?

The Card is a Microbotics MBX 1200z.
